To celebrate World Book Day, our English department is holding a student competition.

Please send a review of your favourite book or short story to hwatts@kirkleescollege.ac.uk before 11 March 2021.

These reviews can be written, voice recorded or filmed. You may even wish to use props or dress as your favourite book character!

 You may wish to consider:

- What makes this book/story your favourite?

- Which characters are your favourite and why?

- Are there any themes within the book/story that are important to you?

- Would you recommend this book and why?

- Do you have a favourite quote from the book? What is it and why does it stand out to you?
